Do Gifts from Retirees get Matched?
The truthful answer to this question is that is depends. Every company creates their own matching gift requirements uniquely. Full-time employees are almost always eligible to participate in their employers' matching gift programs but many companies also offer to match the donations made by retirees. A few companies that do include retirees are: Verizon, Bank of America, General Electric and many others.
